History

is a non-profit organization that was founded in March 2018 by Mrs. Eric Ninette Lélé Bogne.

  • Since her early childhood, she has lived in environments where women and children were subjected to unprecedented violence and abuse. Over the years, these situations gave her an intense desire to help vulnerable groups in general and women in particular. In her native country, Cameroon, she was at the origin of several women's associations such as the Amazons in 1994, the Sardoines in 2000 and the Perles de Camlait in 2003.

  • She immigrated to Canada in 2007 and has worked in several fields such as pharmaceuticals, early childhood education and property and casualty insurance brokerage. During her divorce in 2012, she went through extremely difficult times that she was only able to overcome with the help of her entourage and community organizations. This situation reawakened a dream that had been festering in her for a long time: to create a community organization that would help the vulnerable and needy.

  • It was then that in April 2018, she launched a movement for women's expression and development called "Lamamicité". This movement promoted activities such as sports, dance, fashion, culture and motivational capsules for women.

  • As it grew, the need to formalize the movement was felt and allowed the creation of the International House of Lamamie in December 2018 under the Companies Act (Part III, R.S.Q. chap-38, s.2018).
